Our Mission
The mission of Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center is to provide a safe, healthy, therapeutic environment where clients can achieve hope and healing on their journey to living a healthier emotional and physical lifestyle.
Mingus is the best. My daughter was there and in treatment for several months. The staff there are the best in the industry. Way above and beyond on so many occasions.I never once had an email or call go unreturned. They facilitated visits and because I live 5 hours away, they would put me in a hotel for the night. If she needed transportation to appointments and the like, they provided it.So professional and well organized.Go Mountain Lions!

I have worked at Mingus Mountain for over 16 years and am very proud of the care and services we give to our clients. Mingus continuously strives to provide the best, most therapeutic services allowing our clients a safe place to heal from trauma and addiction.

Being a part of the growth and change of Mingus over the last three years has been extremely rewarding. Working at Mingus has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I have a large network of support here, and the people in my department have made coming to work not feel so much like work 🙂 And the views! What a beautiful campus.
I have been working at Mingus Mountain YTC going on 7 years. I have seen us at our best and at our worst. I can say now that we are definitely on the uphill climb and are doing some great things for our clients. The only reason I didn’t give a 5-star rating is because we still have some areas to improve on, but we are headed on the right path. Go Mountain Lions!
MMYTC offers much needed support and unique services to at-risk young girls. As a staff member, I am grateful to witness the growth and accomplishments of both our clients and team members on a daily basis. In the last few years, we have taken great pride in improving our training and safety measures while also accomplishing a Sanctuary Certification which holds us to even higher standards compared to similar organizations throughout the state and nation.
